Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry representative Hikmet Hajiyev in a meeting with the Azerbaijani sites Haqqin.az expressed that the Nagorno Karabakh Republic has never taken an interest in any of the rounds of chats on the advancement of the fundamental standards of Karabakh clash settlement.
Remarking on his Azerbaijani partner the representative of the NKR Foreign Ministry Ani Sargsyan in a meeting with Panorama.am noted, "Mr. Hajiyev never misses a chance to show his shocking lack of awareness of history and realia of the arrangement process."
Note that in the last record of the Budapest summit of the CSCE in 1994 three gatherings of contention are said - Armenia, Azerbaijan and the Nagorno Karabakh. This position was affirmed in Prague outline of the OSCE Chairman on March 31, 1995. From January 1995 to 1997, the arrangements inside the Minsk Group as per the Budapest summit choice were held between three gatherings - Armenia, Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh.
