Alexandria Area High School Cardinal Knowledge Bowl groups had their third match of the season on Monday, February 9 in Fergus Falls. They contended with Minnewaska, Hawley, New York Mills and Sisseton.
The Cardinal groups completed initially, third, fourth, sixth and ninth out of 20 groups.
The group of Eric Branch, Josh Flatau, Gregor Peterson, Kyle Krippner and Erin Doyle drove leaving the composed round and relentlessly expanded their lead to complete with 113 focuses, 18 focuses in front of second-place Minnewaska.
Then again, Minnewaska had a tremendous last round to nip the Cardinal group of Carl Branch, Sam Ealy, Laura Dahlquist and Tracy Gratkowski by 1.5 focuses.
